Data.

AIREAPER measures AI displacement risk across the labor market. This page describes what we track, how it is structured, and how the AIREAPER Displacement Index (ADI) is built. Risk figures are signal-based estimates, not predictions of specific layoffs.

Coverage

AIREAPER maintains risk profiles for 836 occupations and 684 companies. Occupation profiles draw on task-level AI exposure; company profiles combine workforce-reduction filings, hiring behavior, and public signals.

The three evidence tiers

Every data point is classified into one of three tiers, and shown differently: Verified events (WARN Act, SEC filings, official press releases) are presented as fact. Signals (hiring trends, job-posting volume, career-page changes, news) are presented as risk indicators. Chatter (anonymous employee sentiment) is presented only as unverified discussion, never as confirmed fact.

ADI — AIREAPER Displacement Index

The ADI is a public, weekly measure of AI displacement pressure across occupations and industries. It aggregates the verified and signal tiers into a single directional index. See the live index at /adi.

Underlying sources

Verified layer: U.S. WARN Act notices, SEC EDGAR full-text filings (Item 2.05 / workforce reduction), official company press releases. Signal layer: BLS labor statistics, O*NET task data, public job boards, company career pages, news via GDELT and NewsAPI. Full detail at /data-sources.

Methodology

How risk is calculated, what counts as verified vs. signal vs. chatter, how often scores update, and what AIREAPER explicitly does not claim, is documented at /methodology. AIREAPER does not predict individual termination decisions.
